This residence is inspired by the work of Donato Bramante, a 16th century Italian architect. The main structure is symmetrical and reminiscent of a small temple. The form is softened by the curved roof lines. The interior is expansive and daylit. The garage and bedroom wing echo the form of the main building. The structure is designed to create a variety of sizes and types of outdoor spaces for differing social settings. The interior of the structure has a clear separation of public and private.
