Microcities
YOU ARE HERE
The unique nature of Microcities makes it unsuitable for a conventional development process. Consequently the development concept calls for a team of partners to manage different aspects of the project.
The city would provide some streetscape improvements and surface parking in exchange for land. One type of a Microcity would be an Artisan Community. An arts organization would provide arts management and arts residencies.
A developer will oversee construction and mange condos that remain as rental units and assist the condominium owners association. Microtecture, PLLC will oversee the sustainability aspects on both the development and the individual structure level as well as design the actual structures and coordinate consultants.
